About RecallRadar
Every year, thousands of foods and consumer products are recalled in the United States. The official announcements are public — but they are often written in dense, technical language and spread across different government websites.
RecallRadar exists to make that information easy to understand. We collect recall data from official government sources and rewrite it into simple, plain-English pages: what was recalled, why, how to recognize the affected product, and what you can do about it.
Where our data comes from
Our recall information comes from public data published by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for food recalls, and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) for consumer product recalls. Every recall page links directly to the official government record, and shows when the information was last synced.
Independence
RecallRadar is an independent service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the FDA, CPSC, or any government agency. Our summaries are provided for convenience — the official government notice is always the authoritative source. You can read more on our disclaimer page.
